A gathering of enCore Consortium members and enCore users will be held at The University of Texas at Dallas on August 12th through 13th. The gathering will be a working session devoted to enCore program development and include a keynote address by Dr. Jan Holmevik, the creator of the enCore Learning Environment.
The goal of the Symposium will be to bring together the collective goals of the Consortium with the individual projects and needs of the members of the Consortium. Working sessions during the symposium will balance sessions focused on the enCore Development Projects with sessions devoted to collaboration on individual research, grants, or projects participants have in their own locations. Thus, the Symposium will seek to highlight and strengthen the symbiotic relationship between the Consortium and its members: how can individuals help the group and how can the group help its individual members. In addition to the working sessions, there will talks given by Jan Holmevik, Cynthia Haynes, and Lennie Irvin.
On Saturday morning, there will be an online meeting of the entire enCore Consortium which will include a presentation by Daniel Jung about the new enCore version 5.
