[Encore] A question of ticks

Hello

 One of our students is experiencing problems when attempting to create
a room. She gets the following error :-

MOO gives me this message: #43:time_sub, line 83: Task ran out of ticks ... called from #125:make_head, line 18 ... called from #138:build*_page pre_assemble (this == #156), line 19 ... called from #156:create_html, line 28 ... called from #32:get, line 55 ... called from #32:do_login_command, line 11 (End of traceback) 

Is there a simple work around ?

We are running V4.
