[Encore] Encore Express

Hi Paul
Nothing wrong with WinMOO for experimenting :-)
Just remember that if you want to use your database on a Unix based MOO
server later you will have to change the passwords. The WinMoo version of
Crypt is different than the one in MOO servers compiles for Unix.
I have never seen a Gui based MOO builder that actually worked, I've seen a
couple of programs that would eventually have been such if their development
had continued.
Is your MOO an EnCore MOO or plain LambdaMOO?
Ciao
KJ

Thanks
as a newbie, I've probably asked the wrong question.
I've seen some websites
(http://www.terrace.qld.edu.au/moo/moobiesguide/build.htm) where they use a
GUI to assist in bulding the MOO. I thought that was Encore Express -
perhaps not.
Currently I have my MOO running locally, and I connect using Pueblo, bu
using a local address 192.168.1.100:7777. Didn't want to admit it, but I'm
using WinMOO - had too much trouble with others.
What I'd like to do is be able to get a GUI to help me create the rooms etc
within the MOO.
Can anyone assist with that query please?
Paul
